I used to stand proud in my glory and grime
My back was all muddy, my odor a crime
They wroked hard to clean me, with sponge in hand
To rid me of dirt and smell and sand
But then came the scrubby, so magically fingered
It cleaned deep past the surface where dirt still lingered
Past the coat hair, and down to the skin
Where infection, like mange, will always begin
It massaged me well too, and took care of those stains
Now hardly a trace of discolor remians
But given my nature, as you might very well guess
I'll soon roll around in a smelly big mess
